Project Details:

23 new classrooms constructed to meet CHPS certifications. Project is located between 57th and 58th on Main St., Los Angeles. The project consisted of three structures, two of which included a continuous subterranean parking. These two structures (East and West Wing) are located adjacent to and immediately positioned next to busy city streets, requiring an extended depth of shoring of LA City property. The third structure is a stand-alone Multi-Purpose Room with a full commercial kitchen and dining facilities for over 700 occupants. Site work consisted of shade canopies, planters and walkway cover, playground equipment, playfield equipment, and all utilities. Offsite work included sidewalk, curb, gutter, utility connections, street lighting and signal work. SBE and DVBE goals were exceeded on this project by more than 50%.
