Company History

DJM Construction was founded in 1990 by David J Morales and has been a responsible and reliable contractor for over 25 years. DJM started out by self-performing abatement and painting and soon moved into concrete and carpentry as well as other General Engineering projects. Controlled Risk Management and Fiscal Integrity as well as a deep rooted desire to deliver above expectations lead DJM into General Contracting, where our focus has been for the last 15 years.

DJM is now recognized as one of Southern California’s most competitive General Contractors. Our focus is on new construction, modernization, design/build, and seismic upgrades for both General Construction and Engineering projects. Our client list has grown substantially over the years and includes such organizations as: United States Air Force, City of Los Angeles, Department of Veterans Affairs, United States Army Corps of Engineers, General Services Administration, and many local K-12 School Districts and Community Colleges.
